One of Laura's friends, with two little girls, has a husband in Afghanistan. The horrors and conditions there are unbelievable, much worse than Iraq in my opinion. This is he (Jimmy Howell). You may have seen this on NBC news or the TODAY show:
Hi. Just found your blog through Kappa Prep. Do you mind if I add you to my blogroll? Your pictures from your trips are amazing. I think I will live vicariously through you for awhile. I love your children's needlepoint stockings from your 2003 Christmas picture. Do you mind if I ask where you got them?
Married since 1987 to Robert, three grown kids: Will, Vivian, and Dots, one granddaughter: Charlotte ~~~~
Majored in mathematics at SMU, taught elementary school for six years before Will was born, currently tutoring math ~~~~
Things I enjoy: playing duplicate bridge, working NY Times crossword puzzles, reading good books, entertaining, visiting with friends, planning trips, traveling, playing board games, spending time with family, working Liberty jigsaw puzzles, cooking, keeping up with old friends ~~~ happy to correspond with other parents about raising a child with special needs
I unintentionally contaminated all of the pictures on my blog when I changed my privacy settings on Flickr. I am working backwards to correct them all, but it is quite a tedious procedure! If you encounter a post with error messages from Flickr where the pictures should be, then I haven't gotten to that post yet. Please let me know and I will update it immediately. Thanks for your patience!

Love it. Wouldn't hurt if they threw in a toothbrush as well.
I appreciate businesses that remember our troops. What a wonderful way to brighten everyone's Halloween.
My dad is a dentist, too, and he has a friend that has a program like this each Halloween. What a fab idea to send it to the troops!!
That's really neat! What a great cause!

Hi, I just left the post above and my blog link wasn't attached so you wouldn't be able to find me and tell me about your stockings.
Ok, that is just cool! Love the idea.
I saw something similar recently, very smart idea for a dentist! I hope you had good luck at Tory today! I wore my black Revas and channeled you!!
