Hockey Boy had a Varsity game last night. It was a real nail biter, with our team trailing by a goal most of the game and then coming back to tie it up with 6 minutes left and scoring a goal to win it in overtime.
Not everyone was on the edge of their seat in eager anticipation, however...

Ooooh, poor Vivian. I feel her pain! That photo reminded me of the hours every day that I spent in an ice rink while Laura skated. Sometimes we were on the road at 4:30 AM and not home until 7 PM. How did I/she stand it?
Poor, sweet thing! At least she got to be there with the family while THEY cheered.:-)
That's funny! I think that's how I might behave at a hockey game...not knowing anything about hockey. :)

Good Morning Eloise, Thanks for visiting me. I have so enjoyed visiting your blog. Your Thanksgiving needlepoint pieces are so lovely--I love handwork although I have not done as much of it in recent years, I like to sew and do crewel work. I've done a bit of cross stitch too. Our family also loves jigsaw puzzles, we did them in my family as a child growing up--we always have one to do when we're together at Christmas. I like to get one out if we have a snow day too!
My son played hockey when he was in high school--roller hockey--and my two daughters didn't like to go to the games because they said all the hockey gear on all those boys smelled too bad! (This was true, but a mother is not deterred by something like that!)
You know...I have never gone to see a hockey game!
I need to come to a hockey game with you this winter! My roomie from college (who is at SMU) and I are obsessed! I am sorry Vivian did not have the best time, but at least you were all together!
Aw, Viv - I feel your pain!! I'm afraid i'm not a fan of hockey or any other sports! Good thing my daughter was a ballet dancer.
Cute picture.
