Thursday night I drove to Houston with my bridge partner, Leslie, for a regional bridge tournament. We played in the morning, afternoon and evening sessions (with widely varying degrees of success!) and then drove back to Dallas this morning.
Right now I am getting ready to leave for East Texas with Dots for an overnight mother-daughter retreat with our church. We'll miss Hockey Boy's noon travel game tomorrow but will be back in time for his 4:00 Varsity game.
I'm also deep in the throes of Valentine luncheon plans (I'm expecting 35 friends this year!), so I probably won't post much between now and next weekend. I hope to be back to regular blogging very soon, though.

Busy! Safe travels and best wishes for a wonderful luncheon.
Have a wonderful week, and good luck with your luncheon... it sounds like so much fun. I am sure that all of your pals are looking forward to it! Go Hockey Boy!
Hello! Long time no see! I love the blog and catching up with your kiddos! Wow they have grown up! I can't believe "hockey boy" is 17...where did the time go? Hope all is well with you. You can check out my blog as well...www.thekennedyjourney.blogspot.com
Look forward to hearing about your luncheon and your getaway with Dots!
I can't wait to see pics of the luncheon! Have fun on your trip. cherry
I really enjoy your blog. I have to ask - how do you do everything you do and still take care of Vivian? Do you have household help or a nanny to give you a break? I do not have special needs children and I get exhausted reading about all you do! Bless your heart!
