Last Saturday we had the pleasure of seeing Kim from 3 Peanuts and her family when they were in Dallas.
While Kim's kind husband Dave entertained their kids, she and I were able to spend the afternoon together. We wandered around a nearby shopping area and had a lovely time visiting and browsing. You'd have thought we'd known each for years!
After consulting with Kim, I purchased this small version of Phillipe Starck's Ghost Chair for Dots's room
Kim helped me carry the chair to my car
Kim had her eye on this tiny pink version of the Ghost Chair for Kate's room. Isn't it the cutest?
That evening the 3 Peanuts family joined us for dinner. Everyone got along so well. I enjoyed the chance to spend time around Kim's precious (and very well-mannered) children and to get to know her ever-so-nice husband, Dave.
The *grown-ups' table*
Dots hosted Will, Harry & Kate at the kids' table
After dinner we went up to our third floor and played games. Truly a fun and memorable evening for us.
Kate is unbelievably cute and personable in real life!
Will and I played Stratego with some *assistance* from Miss Kate
Dots led us all in a game of Balderdash. Kim's boys came up with some very clever and entertaining definitions
Kim, thanks so much for taking the time to visit us. I hope to see you again soon!
We had such a good time too! You and Robert are excellent hosts. I plan to post about this tomorrow. I might steal a photo or two. LOVE that chair and am a little sad that I did not buy one too!
so cute! I would be intimidated cooking for Mrs. Peanuts, she really has the best eating habits of anyone!!! I wish I could eat like she does, I'm addicted to preservatives in my food. Kate has to get that chair - that is sooo cute!!!
what a lovely blog and you have the most beautiful home along wit beautifl children too. It really did look as if all were enjoying themselves very much!
I love the colors and the front page of your blog bordering! So pretty! Cindy

I unintentionally contaminated all of the pictures on my blog when I changed my privacy settings on Flickr. I am working backwards to correct them all, but it is quite a tedious procedure! If you encounter a post with error messages from Flickr where the pictures should be, then I haven't gotten to that post yet. Please let me know and I will update it immediately. Thanks for your patience!
