I should win a prize for capturing the one moment in the eight-hour flight when Dots and Hockey Boy were awake and not fighting

Some longtime friends are staying at the same resort as our family. Dots joined their twins (who go to school with her) in their seat for several hours to watch movies and play games. Hockey Boy happily stretched out and slept in her absence. He'll be glad to know I abstained from taking a picture of that

Finally we arrived in Maui! The kids and I waited for the luggage (Hockey Boy is in the center in brown) while Robert retrieved our rental car (a *highly embarrassing* Mercury Marquis that could easily pass for a police car, a taxi or a boat!)

"Don't take a picture of me, Mom!"

Mountains and palm trees: even the airport is beautiful here

Almost to the hotel - hooray!

The view from our balcony. Ah, this is the life!

I'm so jealous I can't stand it! We had too many people going in different directions to plan a trip.
I can with all honesty say that you deserve this trip and I hope you have a fantastic time!
Have fun!
Have a great time! I am part of the jealous crowd. I LOVE Hawaii!
So beatiful...hope you have settled in and are having a great time!
I am so grateful it was 78 degrees here today (for the first time this Spring) or I might just have cried when I looked at yur photos. Instead, I'm just happy for you. Enjoy your vacation!!
This is so fun! Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful vacation!
The life indeed! Enjoy! Love the "don't take a picture"...... My teenagers have to be "just ready," completely perfect - in their opinion - and THEN and ONLY then I am allowed to take pictures...
You are living the life. I hope you are having so, so much fun!
