Vivian's EEG has been postponed because of her sedation. I think that Dr. Riela (Vivian's longtime neurologist) will still come by tonight, and I am eager for his input.
This morning Vivian had a wakeful period where she thrashed around and made strange gutteral sounds. Her eyes were open, but she did not seem to see anything. Vivian seemed so confused and not herself. I am trying so hard to remain hopeful, but these waves of panic keep overcoming me. Please keep praying that Vivian is healed. I am pleading with God to take away my fear, but I am still very scared.
My mom flew in this morning from Jackson Hole. My mother-in-law picked her up from the airport and we all had lunch together at the hospital. I just couldn't take being up there anymore, so my mom and I have come home for a little bit. I am going to try to rest and regather my strength and then go back up to Vivian's room.
Thanks to each of you for your love and support. It means a lot to Robert and me to know that so many people love our sweet Vivian and are praying fervently for her.

I have been praying all day and eagerly hoping for a positive EEG. I cannot imagine what you are feeling. Hand your fear over to God and He will take it. Love,
Kim

Just want you to know that I am among the praying. So glad your mom is there!
My heart and prayers continue to go out to you and your family.

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Please remember that that fear is from a dark source and God is there to wipe it away if you let him. Pray believing...I am doing the same. I have found myself eagerly awaiting this updates and holding Vivian deep in my heart betwwen posts. God bless you all.

I just read your blog and the whole story of Vivian's (and your) difficulties of late. I'm so glad you have a strong support system and that the doctors and nurses are taking good care of all of you. Sending good thoughts and prayers! Please continue to post updates!
Down on my knees praying for you all! Everyone i have spoken with today says Vivian is constantly on their mind as is your entire family. No miracle is too big for God! I cannot imagine what you are going though, but know people all over the world are praying for the well being of your entire family!

Nancy and Chris were told by other parents that life in the NICU (and I'm sure it applies to the PICU)is a series of two steps forward and one back. Praying that this latest set back will be followed by those steps forward. So glad that your mom is here. Get some rest, Eloise.
I can't imagine what you are going through. It breaks my heart imagining it. I am praying for all of you.
Praying fervently with and for y'all and Vivian!!! Love and hugs, Jenny
Prayers for all of you continue. May your fears be calmed, and your strength restored.

Continuing to send prayers your way. I'm so glad to hear your mom is there with you now.
My prayers are continuing with you all. There is NOTHING more difficult than seeing your baby in pain. Our prayers are for the Lord to continue with you through your panic toward peace. We love you all!
