Vivian loves her new bed! Carmen, her nurse for the past two nights, could not believe how much better Vivian slept and behaved last night than the previous night in her old bed. Carmen also reported that Vivian spoke to her several times, though the day nurse who relayed that information did not know what Vivian had said.
Vivian did well during her upper GI test this morning, and she is scheduled for minor surgery to insert the g-button in her abdomen at 4:30 this afternoon. The procedure is expected to last less than an hour. Please pray that it goes well and that Vivian is so happy to have the n-g tube removed from her nose that she doesn't bother with the new accessory on her tummy.
Vivian has been asleep throughout our visit today; we are pleased that she is resting peacefully.

Eloise I am so happy to hear that Vivian has been making some positive strides. I will continue to pray for healing and restoration for her mind and body. Sending lots of hugs your way!
"Resting peacefully"...are two amazing words! Here's hoping that the posts from the NEAR future will be from home! Prayers continue for your energy to get through these next few days and for good news to be forthcoming!
Ah, Vivian looks so cozy in her new bed and I bet it gives her a more secure feeling than the other bed. Praying for a successful procedure this afternoon and quick healing. Praying that Vivian will be at home, in her own bed, in the very near future. ~Debbie K.
Eloise I am delighted Vivian is resting better. All of today's news sounds wonderful. Lots of prayers being said in our home for her. That new bed does look cozy and secure. Children always did love tents. I hope you have rested better today mentally and physically. Looking forward to another good report tonight.
I'm so happy when you post good news!
The prayers will continue!
M.E.
