Dots and my sister, Marian, made this darling banner
Fixing Vivian's hair before we head home. I watched a video on YouTube to learn how to French braid!
Saying goodbye to some of our favorites in the Medical City Children's Hospital PICU (nurses extraordinaire Ronelle and Kara are on the left in blue, the wonderful Dr. Matson is in the white coat)
Bidding farewell to Kara in the hospital lobby. It felt like we had come full circle when I realized Kara was Vivian's nurse today; she was our nurse on admission 32 days ago and she saw us through some very dark times. Kara was ecstatic to see how well Vivian was doing today
Leaving the hospital. Vivian didn't quite know what to think!
Dots, Aunt Mair and Tucker were waiting for us when we arrived home
My mom tied these yellow bows before she left. They adorned the trees in our front yard and the columns on our porch
My friend Kristin dropped off this big Rudolph book. Do you think Vivian liked it?
Vivian was so happy to be in her own room again that she didn't even notice Robert and Will had removed her bed and put the mattress on the floor
It didn't take Percy long to curl up on Vivian's bed again! He really missed her
Hope you all had a wonderfully restful night. May the coming days show promise, improvement and fulfillment of God's richest blessings. Your family has been through SO much during this last month. May you find comfort and PEACE at being home together again!
I am so thrilled for all of you that Vivian is back in the comfort of her own home. The welcome sign is gorgeous and you are too cute watching a you tube video to learn how to french braid her hair! I will pray for Vivian's continued recovery.
Vivian looks so happy and so bright-eyed! It is just so lovely to see these beautiful photos and know that you have finally come to the happy end of a long grueling journey. It would give anyone hope to see this. Well done! All of you!
What fabulous news! And what a wonderful homecoming. I'll bet Vivian missed Percy as much as he missed her. It's wonderful to see her in her own bed with her doll and her kitty!

I unintentionally contaminated all of the pictures on my blog when I changed my privacy settings on Flickr. I am working backwards to correct them all, but it is quite a tedious procedure! If you encounter a post with error messages from Flickr where the pictures should be, then I haven't gotten to that post yet. Please let me know and I will update it immediately. Thanks for your patience!
