Vivian *consulted* with Robert as he took measurements and hung her portrait. Meticulous Robert got the portrait centered and even in one try. I take more of the multiple-nail-hole approach {sigh}
I picked up Vivian's 16-year-old birthday portrait from the frame shop last week, and Robert hung in it our entry hall next to Will's. I am just thrilled with how it looks!

Usually when Vivian sees a picture of herself, she says, "That's me. I was a cute little baby." But when Vivian walks by her new portrait, she comments, "Look! A princess!"

How sweet...she does look like a princess! And I am also a member of the multiple hole picture hanging club. Measuring just never seems to work, but I tend to blame it on my old house rather than my method.

Just think of it as adding character to the house... I can only imagine what my husband will think when all the pictures eventually come down! Termites perhaps?! LOL

I currently have six holes that need to patched and painted after I realized we hung the bird prints too high.
