Two of Vivian's favorite books are Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type and its sequel Giggle, Giggle, Quack. The Dallas Children's Theater was featuring a production of Giggle, Giggle, Quack last weekend, so Robert and I took Vivian to see it.
When we walked in, Vivian spotted a child carrying a copy of Giggle, Giggle, Quack. "Hey! That's my book! Give it back!" Vivian shouted across the lobby.
Fortunately Vivian recovered from her distress and settled down in time to enjoy the show.

I called ahead to reserve handicapped seating. Vivian seems to handle new places much better from the familiar comfort of her stroller
Just after the intermission Vivian fell sound asleep so we left and took her home. She changed into her pajamas and climbed into bed. When I checked on Vivian a little while later, I found her sleeping but clutching her beloved book.
A successful outing, I would say!

What a fun event ~ I love those books! We watch them on Book Flix for a special treat on Fridays. I think I enjoy it just as much as my students :)

Oh, how fun that she was able to attend the play, then end the special day in bed with the book. :)
